PRIMARY DETAIL
- HEW Level 7, $99,738 – $108,138 p.a. (pro rata) plus 17% employer’s
superannuation and annual leave loading.
- Part time (3 days/week), fixed term for 3 years
- Macquarie University (North Ryde) location
THE ROLE
The Role
The Liverpool Hospital Clinic is seeking a part-time Clinical Audiologist/Clinical Educator to provide high-quality, evidence-based audiology services to clients. The clinical education component of this role will see the successful applicant having a key role in teaching and facilitating learning to ensure our Master of Clinical Audiology students are equipped with professional and practice competencies for best practice audiology services.

To be successful in this role you will be committed to providing high quality diagnostic audiology services and be a passionate and professional individual. You will hold a post-graduate qualification in Clinical Audiology, have a practicing membership of Audiology Australia, and be keen to work in an innovative multidisciplinary environment that balances delivery of high-quality integrated health services and excellence in clinical education. You will be proactive in nature and looking for an opportunity to help develop the profession by sharing your knowledge with others.
About Us
The Liverpool Hospital Audiology Clinic provides both a quality clinical service to the community and clinical education for students of the Master of Clinical Audiology. The clinic offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic audiology services as an outpatient clinic and supports the care of inpatients in Liverpool Hospital.
The position reports to the Audiology Manager, based at Macquarie University’s main campus. Macquarie is a university engaged with the real and often complex problems and opportunities that define our lives. Selection Criteria

Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Audiology
-
Membership of Audiology Australia and current certificate of Clinical Practice
-
Demonstrated skill and experience simultaneously delivering evidence-based audiological services to clients and clinical education to students

Experience in managing competing demands and a diverse diagnostic client caseload

Proven ability to contribute to the improvement and operation of an audiology service

Demonstrated understanding of professional code of ethics and relevant healthcare legislation
