Macquarie Group Limited Hiring for API Software Engineer Job at Sydney Full Time

As an Open Banking API Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining the key APIs that provide CDR Open Banking Data through ADR Portal, Macquarie online and mobile banking platforms across all business channels. You and your team will coordinate with stakeholders to gather CDR requirements and translate that information into technical specifications. You will ensure adherence to established technology standards by performing code and security reviews, automated unit and integration testing, and implementing devops best practices. You will be expected to continuously hone your skills and stay abreast of new technologies and practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Solid understanding and some experiences in DevOps Engineering or Production Support
• Experience or some understanding on API Development or Open Banking APIs
• Knowledge of Enterprise JAVA, JAVA 8+ is preferred.
• Good Understanding of RESTful API services, APIGEE, Spring Boot
• Basic SQL skills or any Graph NoSQL skill such as Gremlin
• Very good experience and practices of unit and integration testing,
• Good understanding on Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Continuous delivery model.
• Ability to break down problems and solve them systematically
• Ability to write automation script for your own code as needed.
• Actively participate in DevOps and/or BAU Operation related rotational support
• Solid communication skills, able to articulate your thoughts to any audience

Although not required, knowledge of the following will be highly valued:

• Cloud technologies, preferably AWS or GCP
• Containerization technologies such as Docker
