Do you have the technical skills and experience to manage the delivery of innovative digital content using multiple platforms and formats? Do you pride yourself on having an excellent eye for detail? Are you highly IT (Information Technology) literate and creative? If this sounds intriguing, we have a great role for you!
We are striving to do everything we can to ensure that our workforce is representative of the people we support, and those who support us. We advocate for being an inclusive organisation, where everyone can feel that they belong and where there are no barriers to success.
We want every individual to feel empowered to bring their best to work, and that’s why we offer flexibility in our working hours and benefits so we can support you in your life and your career, and we welcome a conversation about how these options can best support you.
We offer a range of flexible working patterns, such as compressed hours, e.g. 34.5 hours in 4 days instead of 5, flexibility to work earlier or later around our core working hours of 10am-4pm and more options.
About the role
You will be responsible for the effective management of information resources, learning systems and course content for the health and social care workforce, supporting customers whose priorities are leading on the design, development, and delivery of learning interventions across Macmillan.
Your responsibilities will range from managing and quality assuring digital content for our learning management systems; enabling system access and resolving issues for all users across our external facing learning platforms and related systems, creating assets such as posters, articles, and banners for our digital systems; troubleshooting and resolving errors with a range of customers and always looking at ways to contribute to our ongoing drive for continuous improvement.
About you
You will have experience of managing e-learning platforms and related software (for example – Adobe Creative suite, Camtasia, Articulate, Evolve, CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems) and will be able to provide user support to internal and external customers and colleagues.
An excellent verbal and written communicator, you will be highly organised and have a keen eye for detail alongside a love of problem solving. You will have excellent IT skills and proficiency with MS Office packages, and at least a basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
As a proactive team player, who is happy working in a learning environment, you will be confident in identifying non-inclusive content with confidence and be able to use your relationship building and managing skills to challenge and find solutions in a positive way.
