About the role
Macmillan Cancer Support are on a journey. With a re-invigorated Corporate Change team, we are on the search for an assistant project manager to help us deliver change.
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of strategic projects as part of a corporate portfolio of change that will enable Macmillan to achieve its purpose to do whatever it takes to support people living with cancer.
The Assistant Project Manager will support the scoping, planning and implementation of projects across Macmillan. They will also take ownership of workstreams and smaller initiatives, under the guidance of our Project and Programme Managers. They will play a key role in the production and maintenance of project documentation, ensuring projects are effectively managed according to Macmillan’s corporate project management framework.
About you
You will have a good understanding of project management principles and an keen interest in putting this into practice.
You will have good communication and organisational skills. You will be a diversity champion, supporting the creation of an inclusive project team where all are valued for their unique contribution.
