Job Details:
Position: Packer – transport provided- £10 per hour (days) – £12.50 per hour Overtime (days)
- £10.50 per hour (nights) – £13.13 per hour Overtime (nights)
- Maidstone, ME17 4BA
- TRANSPORT PROVIDED from the following train stations: Maidstone West; Chatham; Rochester
- Immediate start
- No experience needed;
- DAY SHIFT 6:30 am-6:30pm; NIGHT SHIFT 6.30 pm-6.30 am
- Temp to perm
Mach Recruitment is recruiting Fruit Packers to work in a large fresh fruit packing and distribution site in Maidstone, ME17 4BA.
The Role:
- As a Fruit Packer you will be working within a fresh fruit environment and your duties will be as followed:
- Packing of fresh fruit as per required specification
- Basic Quality checks and Quality assurance of fresh fruit
- General production duties
- Some lifting of fruit boxes
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and ensure food hygiene is adhered to
- To work effectively and safely in line with H&S requirements
- This is a fast-moving environment, all team members must work whilst maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and compliance with the hygiene regulations at all
- General Duties outlined by your shift supervisor
About You:
- As a Fruit Packer, you will have the following skills and experience:
- Start immediately and are looking for long-term work
- Previous experience is not needed
- Able to work up to 12 hours per shift
- You will be able to travel to Maidstone, ME17 4BA
