Machobear Studios Inc Hiring for MBS – Front End Developer at Vancouver, BC Full Time

Who are we?

Machobear Studio is an established tech start-up based in Vancouver. We are the creators of Liv.Rent, a platform that connects tenants with landlords (check us out at www.liv.rent and in the App store!) We are currently on the lookout for an Intermediate/Senior Front-End Developer. Your heart is in front-end and you are constantly checking out new tech stacks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and customize high performing enterprise web and mobile applications
• Research, implement and share best development practices with the team

What You Bring to Us:
BSc in Computer Science or BASc in Computer/Software Engineering or a two-year diploma/certificate in computing and software development

4+ years of experience in the tech environment

Experience with ReactJS and React Native

Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6

Maintaining projects in Git versioning systems

Experience with analyzing and optimizing page performance and load times

Worked with MySQL/MariaDB, NodeJs, AWS

Have a passion in web development and new technologies

Have been involved in shipping of at least 1-2 enterprise mobile applications

Proficient in optimizing and debugging code

Team player with strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills

Have strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Experience with Agile and Scrum process

Familiarity with design patterns and programming principals and it’s applications
