The MacDonnell region is located in the centre of Australia. Covering 270,000sq km and with an estimated population approaching 7,000, it has a unique beauty with picturesque water holes, magnificent flora and fauna, red desert sands and rugged mountain ranges.

This position will be based in our Alice Springs Office, which is the regional headquarters to councils’ 13 remote communities and outstation locations.

As the Finance Officer – Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for overseeing Accounts Payable function to ensure our external and internal stakeholders are paid accurately and within a timely manner.

Our successful candidate will ideally hold Certificate IV in Finance, Accounting or Bookkeeping and, at least 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or general Finance position. You will also have experience in using TechOne Software or experience using accounts or payroll software.
