Role Summary:
The Customer Service Coordinator (“CSC”) at Macdonald’s Home Health Care is the first point of contact for our clients, suppliers, and healthcare professionals. They are a dependable and approachable team member who is resourceful and not afraid to step out of their lane to help others. The CSC provides impeccable organization and execution for the day-to-day operations of the service and sales departments and can communicate confidently and keep calm under pressure. This role has a particular focus on the coordination of our Service team appointments. An individual who can anticipate needs and be empathetic whilst navigating ever-changing priorities in a fast-paced, high growth environment will shine here at Macdonald’s.
Requirements:
Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge, computer software and internet proficiency
Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
Team-oriented and dependable with a strong work ethic
Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Effective at multitasking
Ability to handle administrative details independently while maintaining communication with all company departments
Healthcare experience is an asset
Scheduling or coordinating experience is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
Handling and coordinating a high volume of client phone calls, emails and faxes
Greeting & assisting walk-in clients
General office administration
Preparing and organizing all paperwork for the Service & Sales departments
Coordinating each Service team member’s daily appointments, providing adequate time for appointment and follow up
Troubleshooting client issues over the phone
Checking quotations for part numbers, price and labour
Fill out detailed work orders and keep records on services that have been performed
Explain issues with equipment and repairs to clients
Working closely with our Service Team on issues and scheduling
Receiving and processing deliveries & rental returns
Working with healthcare professionals to coordinate deliveries and installations
Advising clients on appropriate medical equipment and services
Preparing quotations and executing work orders promptly
Maintaining our showroom of products
Assisting with showroom sales
