Macarthur Anglican School Hiring for Teacher’s Aide Job at Cobbitty Full Time

Macarthur is an independent Anglican co-educational Transition to Year 12 school with a strong academic and co-curricular focus catering for students of all ability levels. The Headmaster is seeking to appoint appropriately qualified and or experienced Christian people to these permanent part-time (term time only) positions. The successful candidates will join the highly professional, dynamic and industrious staff working in various roles including Transition and Learning Enrichment. A willingness to work across Early Stage 1 to Stage 4 is a distinct advantage. For the right candidate, opportunities to work in Stage 5 also exist.

Candidates for these roles will be required to demonstrate a number of the following:

• certificate IV in Education Support or demonstrable knowledge of and experience in delivering literacy and numeracy programmes in this area;
• qualifications or demonstrable knowledge of and experience in delivering ABA Behaviour programmes;
• qualifications or a range of experiences in delivering disability support;
• qualifications or a range of experiences in delivering ESL support;
• experience delivering a range of social skills support measures;
• experience delivering a range of health support measures; and,
• a range of professional learning or ‘on-the-job’ qualifications from educational providers.

An ability to demonstrate certification and experience in the safe handling and heavy lifting associated with the delivery of health and disability support measures will be a distinct advantage.
