Founded in 2014, Mable has become one of Australia’s largest and fastest growing healthtech marketplaces. Our platform is an online community of independent support workers who offer their services directly to people who are seeking aged care or disability support.
Mable began when our co-founder Peter Scutt teamed up with his friend and colleague, Tony Charara, after struggling to find the right home care solution for his parents. That collaboration resulted in an entirely new concept in community care led by the people that matter, which we’ve been constantly refining and improving upon ever since.
With over 3 million hours of support being facilitated through its platform annually, Mable has been growing at a very fast pace and is now at 200+ employees strong.
Mission: We’re redefining support for disability and aged care in Australia by helping people who are aging or living with disability to connect with independent support people in their community.
Having been recognised in Deloitte’s Fast 50 2020 Awards (#9 – 721% Growth) and winning the Australian Growth & Australian Technology Growth Company of the Year Award 2020, this is an awesome opportunity to join a thriving scale up whose profit for purpose mission is transforming the aged care and disability support sectors.
About the role
As Mable scales up, we are looking for someone to join a growing Healthtech company as a Talent Scout which will involve sourcing great active/passive talent for our Technology Team. Sitting within the Talent Team, you will work closely with the wider business in identifying and engaging with the best talent in the market across a variety of roles across Tech (product, data, engineering, design).
Adopting a proactive approach based on our present and future needs, you will create strong talent pipelines across a variety of roles using our ATS & LinkedIn Recruiter and you will be managing that community of talent using your people skills and a variety of communicative methods – Inmails / event invites / newsletters.
How you will make an impact
You will make an impact by enhancing and building upon our talent pipelines which will enable Mable to hire at greater velocity with exceptional talent! You will have a wide scope to carve this role out as your own – we love people who can bring fresh and new ideas to the table and love to see these being implemented!
Who you will be working with
Our People & Talent Team works closely with all parts of the business regarding people and culture. We thrive on providing the best experience to current and future Mablers, finding solutions and sharing ideas. The role will be reporting to the Talent Acquisition Partner and is a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience at a rapidly growing scale-up and a great stepping-stone to other exciting roles within a mission-driven organisation.
Your responsibilities:
Work closely with the talent team and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of the roles, the function and how it fits into the organisation.
Support the talent team and strategise different ways to build talent pools by identifying and engaging with passive candidates through the use of tactical research on LinkedIn and alternative channels (Social platforms, Events, referral, sourcing campaigns, community building strategies, etc…)
Screen resumes and candidates to identify talents and great culture fit.
Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders.
Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas.
Use your creativity to apply marketing/community building strategies to engage and manage a community of talents overtime.
Assist with recruitment administration and maintaining the ATS (Recruitee).
Embody the company culture and represent Mable externally.
Experience you’ll need:
1 years + (ideally) sourcing experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team
1 years + (ideally) sourcing experience in software engineering/product/designer/data
Experience approaching and engaging with candidates
Or – you could be a grad who is hungry and motivated to build out a career in Talent Acquisition. A growth mindset and willingness to learn is key!
