Job Description
4M- Systems Ltd is seeking qualified candidates to join our team as Junior Software Tester and this role is permanent reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager. This is a new role within the company and will aid the development team on a day-to-day basis with development of new systems utilizing the latest technologies and a background in Java will be preferable as we intent to create automation test suites for our E2E processes at a later stage of the project delivery.
As a Junior QA testers you are expected to perform a variety of tests, such as regression, integration, platform, and performance testing to confirm the stability of software systems and communicate with clients and stakeholders, present demos and answer questions at the end of a sprint.

The ideal candidates will either need to be educated to NQF level 6 or have relevant experience to be able to apply for this position.
The Role:
The role is primarily based in the Leeds; however you may be expected to travel other parts of UK to our client’s premises were your IT expertise is required.
Employment Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Annual Salary: £20,000 to £22,000 depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with project stakeholders across different parts of the organization to achieve strategic opportunities and deliver on tactical project milestones alike.
· Find, report, track and ensure the defects are closed using JIRA and Qualitycenter.
· Working closely with developers during sprints to test each feature addition precisely to eliminate any potential issues at the development stage
· Managing, planning and preparing test in a repeatable format to test products at various stages of the development process
· Logging all technical issues into the Team Foundation Server for review
· Liaising with the development team to ensure all parties are aware of potential issues
· Prioritising testing effectively and taking a risk-based approach
· Attending planning meetings and assisting in providing test estimations and test planning
· Supporting production rollout
· Executing manual test scripts
· Producing release documentation
· With experience provide staff training and overview sessions.

· Highly organised with excellent time management skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Enthusiasm for IT and technology
· A good command of English, both spoken and written.
· This role would suit an individual with exceptional organisational and personal skills from a general IT background.
