Looking for incredible online tutors to join our fast-growing team. We are looking for tutors who are inspiring, motivated educators, ready to make a difference.

For English, Mathematics and Science to provide tutoring for Key Stage 3/4/5, 11+, GCSE, A-Levels.

Responsibilities:

· Complete online training to the required standard

· Use an online platform to apply for and deliver tutoring

· Maintain accurate online registers

· Inspire and motivate learners, identify any barriers to learning and adapt your delivery style to individual learner needs.

· Deliver online sessions, ensuring they are interactive and engaging.

· Check-in with the students throughout the session to reinforce learning.

· Effectively manage the time and pace of the session to complete it in a timely manner.

· Troubleshoot technical issues with participant and/or families as needed.

· Employ appropriate pedagogies suited to the student(s) and learning objectives, engagement, and appropriate behaviour when delivering sessions.

· Provide feedback on each session and each group of sessions at the required time and in the required format.

· Adhere to all Policies and Procedures. It is a strict requirement that you have the ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.

Skills Required:

· Strong and timely communication skills in person, via video, and via email.

· You will be personable and engaging in your delivery style

· Strong organisational skills

· Ability to learn how to navigate and use IT platforms quickly and effectively.

Requirements:

· Degree Qualification

· Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS)

· Minimum 1 Year of teaching experience

· Minimum 1 Year of Tutoring experience

· Experience teaching online

· Experience of 1:1 or small group tutoring

· Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs

· Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes

· Enhanced DBS on Update Service

· Two professional references

Additional Requirements

· A reliable internet connection and a desktop computer (PC or Mac). Tutoring cannot be delivered effectively via a tablet or phone.

· You will not at any point have sight of any live papers relating to the qualification (from any Awarding Body) for which you are delivering tutoring.

Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Salary: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
