Lynden Door Canada of Yarrow, BC is currently hiring a full-time Production Worker. This role is responsible for setting up and cleaning, sanding and filling of doors, and general cleanup. This position works Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The hourly rate is dependent on experience. We are door manufacturing industry leaders and believe that hard work can also be fun!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A PRODUCTION WORKER

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior experience in a door shop is preferred, but not an asset

Knowledge of door components and assembly techniques is preferred, but not an asset

Carpentry and woodworking experience is preferred, but not an asset

Able to read basic shop drawings

Mathematical aptitude and understanding of imperial measurements to the 1/32 of an inch

Physically ability to safely lift up to 50 and be able to stand and/or be on your feet for an entire scheduled shift

Be comfortable with and safely use the equipment

Willing to be cross trained in all areas of production

Willing to take direction

Willingness to pursue additional training to enhance job skills

Exceptional (internal/external) customer service
