As we continue through an exciting period of growth, and due to the Company’s involvement in a number of new projects and studies, Lycopodium is currently recruiting for an Accounting and/or Finance Graduate to join our growing Project Services team in Perth.

Reporting to the Group Manager – Project Services, this entry level opportunity will provide support to our various Project teams, acting as a focal point for ensuring maintenance and reporting of committed, expended and forecast costs to complete against Project budgets.

The tasks you’ll perform

• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of the accounts payable invoicing cycle.
• Generate Good Received Notice (GRN) and collate all supporting documentation that is relevant to the invoice.
• Generate and process invoice approval forms (IAFs) and maintain relevant registers in accordance with applicable procedures.
• Coordinate with Projects personnel, Clients and Vendors to resolve invoice and payment queries in a professional manner.
• Ensure purchase order files are frequently reviewed and closed on completion.
• Maintain and file all relevant project documentation in accordance to the Company approved procedures.
• Ensure a complete project close out is carried out and all reports, accounts and files are formally handed over to the client in a timely manager.
• Working collaboratively with personnel across all business units.

The expertise you’ll bring

• Relevant qualification in the field(s) of Accounting and/or Finance from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills Intermediate Excel, Microsoft office 365/Windows, Adobe XI Pro/Acrobat.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues across all business units.
• Driven and determined to achieve objectives through continued professional development.
• High attention to detail, problem solving and proven time management skills.
• A self-starter who can readily adapt to shifting priorities in a fast paced environment.
