LYCON Cosmetics is a leading edge, fast paced, multi-faceted cosmetics manufacturer based in Pinkenba Brisbane. We have a friendly and supportive environment and culture. We sell across Australia and we export around the world. We have extra capacity for growth, and we are looking for a Business Development Manager in this newly created role, to propel our brand to the next level.

Position Overview

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities with both new and existing accounts and implementing sales strategies to grow our brand in Australia and internationally. You will work closely with the CEO, sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment of our brand strategy.

• Strategic commercial development of the business across all channels (distributors, department stores, retailers, e-commerce).
• Develop and deliver engaging presentations that give potential partners an overview of the business plan, products and growth traction.
• Manage existing distributors and ensure they meet sales targets.
• Expand into new markets and identify new opportunities through business development, LinkedIn and networking events.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and deliver marketing activities and collateral to support brand awareness and lead generation.
• Provide feedback and s on sales performance and market trends.
• Stay up to date with the market and maintain in-depth knowledge of the brand and products.

Ideal Candidate

• Demonstrate a successful track record in business development manager or sales executive.
• Relevant qualification/s in either business, economics, finance, or marketing.
• Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to construct and analyse sales figures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of enthusiasm, energy and drive to succeed.
