Luxury Transport Inc Hiring for Dispatcher/Customer Service at Vancouver, BC Full Time

We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher with great at customer service to come and join our team! Luxury Transport has been providing private transportation services in the lower mainland and Whistler since 1998. We operate Sedans, SUVs, Sprinters, Vans & Mini-buses for private charter service in Vancouver and in Whistler. We are a family owned and operated company that can provide a very flexible work environment. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and time management skills with key attributes including problem solving and multitasking. The Dispatcher will be the main point of contact for our drivers, ensuring they are arriving on time and monitoring our GPS system as well as linking customers to their drivers. In addition there will be two days per week that they will transition their dispatch focus to customer service to answer phones, emails and input bookings.

This is a full time contract position for 3 month with the potential to stay on beyond the completion of the contract. The days are Thursday – Monday – 8 hours per day. Thursday – Saturday will be dispatch only from roughly 3pm – 11pm. Sunday & Monday will be daytime answering phones from 9am – 5pm. Experience in working in the transportation industry and knowledge of NSC requirements and Hours of Service regulations is preferred. We have offices in both Whistler and Burnaby. This is mainly a work from home position. The successful candidate will train in our dispatch and booking software programs and can work remote from anywhere.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $19.00-$20.00 per hour full time for 3 months with potential to continue. 40k annual with benefits pro-rated.
