We are looking for IT Desktop/System Administrator to join our IT Operations team in Southbank supporting the domestic and international business.

Responsible for providing a single point of contact for all Luxury Escapes employees for IT hardware, software, telephony and networking requests raised by the business while proactively managing their resolution, and providing quality customer service and a consistent user experience across the business.

What you’ll do:

• Set up and manage all employees IT related hardware
• Respond and record all IT support requests from the business
• Take ownership of issues from creation to resolution
• Provide initial assessment and troubleshooting for all incidents and attempt to resolve or provide a work-around solution where possible
• Proactively keep users informed on the status and progress of all incidents
• Manage user expectations regarding supplier support
• Monitor IT systems and either rectify failures or escalate to the relevant IT team members
• Perform out-of-hours support when required

What we are looking for:

• A relevant IT degree or qualification
• Experience working in a corporate IT environment in a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge Active Directory, Networking, Office365 and other Microsoft applications
• Knowledge of cloud and backup platforms such as Azure, AWS, Veeam, Duo desirable
• Experience working within a fast paced eCommerce or retail environment is desirable
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to perform complex troubleshooting to isolate, diagnose and correct problems
