Our Hiram, OH facility is looking for an on-site Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team!
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events.
To be successful in this role, the Talent Acquisition Specialist should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires.
The role supports the talent process across all locations in North America. The Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures legal and compliance requirements are met for all recruiting activities.
Essential Functions :
Leads talent acquisition activities across Luxium, NA. This position is responsible for ensuring sourcing and recruiting strategies align with business plans including sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates while building a steady proactive pipeline of qualified candidates within client groups;
facilitates new employee orientations.
Leads employer branding initiatives; creates advertisements and works with external agencies on recruitment efforts.
In conjunction with the HR Director, supports Workforce Planning and talent strategy which includes, managing job descriptions, headcount metrics, budgeting, and annual recruitment plan.
Lead internal training and talent development.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in HR, Business, or related field required.
1-3 years with direct experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods required.
1-3 years with using an ATS required.
1 year experience with a manufacturing workforce preferred.
Strong communication and computer skills, ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the organization.
Understanding and implementation of recruiting metrics to drive decision-making.
Ability to understand technical and scientific details to differentiate between roles and needs.
