Job Description

Luxer One is seeking an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, customer-centric Logistics Specialist to manage the transportation of our lockers.

In your role as Logistics Specialist you will be ing to the Logistics Manager. The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the movement of our lockers between manufacturing, project management team, warehousing, and customers.

You will be the point person for all movement of our lockers, with guidance from the Logistic manager. Being Solutions Driven is a core value of ours and you will be expected to work with our suppliers to improve our processes and make sure we exceed our customer’s expectations.

Responsibilities :

• Provide daily support to supply chain, project management, and warehouse to fulfill customer orders according to the customer expectation.
• Manage daily email correspondence with internal and external customers within a timely manner
• Ensure all orders are received and processed into our TMS and confirm carriers have received dispatch.
• Ensure order entry accuracy. Orders should be reviewed for accuracy daily and updated as needed to ensure everything is aligned.

Monitor shipments on day of delivery; notating damages, errors in configurations (wrong lockers), determine the root cause of an issue during transit, while finding a solution.

It is our goal for each shipment to be received intact with no damages.

• Track and trace shipments to ensure on time delivery, managing loads for pickup while optimizing space on trailers to minimize additional cost (inclusive of internal locker warehouse transfers and daily customer delivery)
• Stay informed of market trends which affect transportation cost and mitigate any additional cost by exercising rate reductions and negotiating with the carriers.
• Must be willing to take calculated risks and be able to discern when to escalate issues to seek advice and approval.
• Effectively communicate challenges to the carrier and hold the carrier accountable when issues arise during dispatch, warehouse fulfillment, transit, and delivery.
• Complete / monitor ongoing of current position of lockers that may be staged in market for redelivery (12 / 31 ).

And reposition any lockers that may be stale in the market, by strategically matching with new orders to minimize additional cost while still using an unused locker.

• Create International documentation required for Outbound shipments.
• Take on internal special projects; such as trade shows.
