LuxDeco Hiring for Finance Manager Job at London, England Full Time

LuxDeco is looking for an innovative Finance Manager to join our small, fast-paced and high-performing. The finance team’s motto is ‘Where there’s a will, there’s a way’, so working closely with the CFO, you’ll be responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the finance function to an exceptional standard. You’ll be pivotal in helping to build a finance function that enables LuxDeco to achieve its ambitions.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily operations

• Own the operational, day-to-day workings of the finance function including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Regular review of our processes to ensure we are efficient, have strong internal controls and remain compliant.
• Manage and develop our Bookkeeper.
• Provide technical advice to the business to ensure we’re compliant with the latest VAT & accounting standards.

Business Partnering

• Adopt a proactive approach to business partnering, with a focus on Operations, Logistics and Supply Chain, to identify opportunities for efficiencies and savings.

Reporting

• Produce timely and accurate Management Information and financial reports including KPIs and variance analysis.

Projects

• Lead and support a wide range of projects within finance and the business.

ABOUT YOU

Essential:

• You have excellent technical knowledge (UK GAAP).
• You have experience working in e-commerce.
• You have demonstrable experience in identifying problems and/or opportunities and implementing effective solutions to address them.
• You enjoy a challenge, and celebrate successes that come along with them.
• You are confident in extracting and synthesising data from a number of sources to support in decision making.
• You are a chartered accountant with 3+ years of post qualification experience (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
• Excellent Excel skills.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desirable:

• You have experience working with Xero and Zapier.
• You take calculated (not reckless) risks, using your best judgement to move quickly on opportunities.
