Overview. In recent years, advancements in digital technologies and their integration into everyday lives have shifted consumer shopping behaviour. With the prevalence of smartphones and a world of integrated shopping experiences, the customer has more choice now than ever of how, where and when to shop. Competition is fierce and businesses are having to dynamically change their business models to cope with the new playing field.

The Online Finance Business Partner role is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced and innovative area of the business. The role will have a global focus, working alongside our Digital team in the UK to seek opportunities to grow sales and ensure delivery of a healthy profit across our markets, as well as getting involved in new initiatives and providing financial support to commercial modelling and ROI reporting. This role will report to the Digital Finance Business Partner and work alongside other Business Partners to provide insight and analysis to the business and represent at a senior level.

Responsibilities:

• Sales updates on digital performance alongside Online Retail team
• Review of Digital Group P/L on a monthly basis, investigating product mix and cogs variances, working with the online retail team to understand movements in variable costs, impacts of new ventures etc
• Reviewing P&L performance against KPIs (eg staff costs, opex, net margin etc)
• Ensuring forecasts are uploaded correctly into Adaptive from local FCs
• Working with Digital Finance team on sales reconciliations and forecasting for external and internal facing revenue streams (eg Subscriptions)
• Supporting internal teams with financial planning and scenario modeling
• Provide reporting for Leadership and other key stakeholders. Contract management and negotiation
• Partnering and collaborating with colleagues across the group.
• Provide accurate analysis and translation of key financial data. Evaluate commercial data effectively and communicate articulately to non-financial stakeholders.
• Facilitate and provide recommendations for new processes and ways of working.
• Assist with the coordination and completion of the budget and forecasting submissions.
• Development and management of financial models and analysis
• Support and influence product and business strategy through product insight, segmentation and analysis. Help facilitate, manage and produce financial forecast

Skills and experience:

• experience in a business partnering role would be an advantage but not a requirement
• Accounting experience at a senior level, ideally ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
• Analytical and commercial mindset. Must be comfortable working with, and presenting to, senior stakeholders on a regular basis
• Not afraid to get stuck in and support the team with financial support and acumen
• Act as an ambassador of the Lush Digital business both internally and externally.Passionate about Digital and able to seek out opportunities on their own
• Digital is a very fast-paced and agile area of the business, the ideal candidate would thrive in this kind of environment and not be uncomfortable working on multiple projects at once
