The role in a nutshell

This role is the heartbeat of our Talent Acquisition team! You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of our recruitment process ensuring best practice and that our candidates and hiring managers are receiving the optimum recruitment service. This includes being responsible for coordinating the recruitment process, managing data and analytics, as well as being the champion of Luno’s employer brand and culture. You’ll also get an opportunity to support wider talent projects, campaigns and events.

• You will report to Daisy who oversees the Global Talent Acquisition function for Luno. This role will support global technical recruitment which includes Countries, Marketing, PR,Emerging Markets. The Talent Acquisition Team is a global team with people based in South Africa, South East Asia and London offices and forms part of the People team function within Luno.

Your mission will involve

• Managing the Top of Funnel process – ensuring that we have diverse, quality, engaged external talent that is readily available to meet our headcount needs
• Partnering with the TA teams to schedule interviews and communicate with candidates regarding their candidacy with Luno
• Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring information is up-to-date as well as a high level of data integrity of data
• Utilizing the Application Tracking System to provide up to date reporting on the progress of critical roles including, candidate pipelines, time to hire and D&I
• Provide an outstanding hiring manager experience ensuring that best practices and timely processes are adhered to.
• Championing the optimum experience for our global candidates by promoting Luno’s culture and organization engagingly and enthusiastically.
• Carry out administrative functions to support the successful running of the Recruitment Department.
• Collaborate with the TA team to understand hiring needs and goals, and ensure that requisitions are raised in line with headcount strategy.
• Work cross-functionally supporting wilder talent projects such as but not limited to employer branding campaigns, D&I and candidate outreach events.

In your first six months, you will

• Have built strong relationships with key stakeholders understanding challenges and potential and outlying solutions to bottlenecks.
• Successfully manage ATS data as per the headcount strategy and Luno best practice as well as provide project support.
• Have integrated yourself into the global team.
• Understand Luno’s hiring processes, policies and practices and where you fit in the matrix.
• Become familiarised with Luno’s ATS for candidate management and reporting.

The ideal Lunaut for this role will have’

• Extensive high-volume recruitment experience within a fast-paced scaling environment, gained from either an external recruitment agency or in-house recruitment team is essential.
• Demonstrable experience in managing large volume recruitment campaigns
• Demonstrable customer service experience and stakeholder management.
• Effective stakeholder management experience with the ability to build relationships and network.
• Excellent IT skills and an expert in using applicant/candidate tracking systems preferably Greenhouse
• Excellent communicator with excellent presentation skills both verbal and written.
• Strong organisation and time management skills with excellent attention to detail, able to multitask and meet targets and deadlines while balancing competing demands
• A strong individual contributor with the ability to pioneer change by initiating action, giving direction.
