Lumina Solar is looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team. We’re looking for people with an excitement for solar and connecting customers with reliable solutions. We offer an uncapped competitive commission. Average first year compensation is $80K+ with top sales reps exceeding $300K.

You’ll be a valued member of the Virginia Sales team. Your peers will rely on your expertise and you will help move businesses and homes toward carbon neutrality. You will to the MD Sales Director.

In this role, you’ll get to:

• Perform 1-3 solar consultations per day (leads are provided)
• Build trust and rapport with prospective customers
• Conduct accurate in-home needs assessments and corresponding analysis
• Deliver outstanding presentations that create a sense of urgency to buy now
• Resolving concerns and overcoming challenges
• Follow up on pipeline and channel sales opportunities using our CRM
• Generate additional revenue through networking and referrals
• Participate in ongoing training, development and certifications
• Partner with cross-functional departments to accomplish mutual objectives
• Communicate and share best practices with other team members
• Attend networking events or participating in trade shows
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas set by sales manager
• Maintain ongoing knowledge of local and regional competition; understand market pricing, utility rates, grant and incentive programs as well as current mix of product and services.
• Attend ongoing training and development activities to improve industry and product knowledge while developing new skills

On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

• Minimum 2 years of proven outside sales experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed a background check
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.

It’s great, but not essential, if you have:

• Bachelors’ or associates degree from an accredited college or university (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications and CRM Databases
• Analytical skills and mathematical abilities
• Prior in-home sales experience
• General knowledge of building components for residential and/or commercial construction (preferred)

Pay: $80,000.00 – $300,000.00 per year
