Job Purpose*
The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for owning the recruitment process at Lucy Group businesses in the UK, allowing us to be confident and ambitious in our approach by finding and hiring high-calibre talent to support our business strategy.
Their objective is to find talented candidates who are the right fit for the job, team, and company as a whole. They’ll be focused on the company’s long-term plans, striving to fill multiple positions while working with wider HR team to keep employee turnover to a minimum.

Job Dimensions*
They’ll work closely with Head of HR Operations and HR Leadership Team to ensure a positive experience for all involved throughout the process (internally and externally) and to use data and research to iteratively define and refine our recruitment strategy and processes over time.

Key Accountabilities*
These will include:

• Process oriented and data driven approach to plan for recruitment using workforce planning, ATS and attrition data
• Producing hiring plans that support business planning and are aligned with our core values and culture.
• Full execution of the recruitment process (including producing hiring packs, job postings, screening applications, phone interviewing, job interviewing, regular communication with applicants and hiring managers) across a variety of roles.
• Acquire a competent understanding of what a specific job entails, with deep knowledge of what Lucy Group values in every employee.

• Working transparently through our systems to ensure efficiency, data recording and compliance with employment legislation
• Report the progress on job vacancies on a regular basis, communicating agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and providing regular updates about the performance of the recruitment process.
• Working with marketing and employee communications, raise the profile of Lucy Group as an employer both internally and externally.
• Act with integrity and confidentiality to ensure a positive experience for applicants, hiring managers and anyone else in the recruitment process.
• Research and utilise recruitment channels (e.g. LinkedIn, CV Library, Indeed, agencies etc.) which will ensure that our recruitment campaigns reach a diverse pool of potential high-calibre candidates.
• Continually review and update our recruitment process to ensure our methods consistently assess candidates against both the role requirements and Lucy Group values.
• Management of relationship and business terms with agencies, channels and ATS provider

Essential*

• Proven experience working as a recruiter.
• Proven experience hiring for roles in engineering companies (across not just development/engineering but QA, design, product, project management, etc).
• Proven experience using various interview formats (e.g. in person, over the phone, technical, cultural, group etc).
• Proven experience with hiring senior and specialised roles.
• Promote and support the HR “one team” approach to ensure high levels of business satisfaction.
• Deep knowledge of and ability to work through our Applicant Tracking Systems to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with employment legislation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Integrity and confidentiality.

• Experience working internally for a global matrix organisation.

• Experience with hiring for managerial and leadership roles.
• Ability to understand products and services offered by each Lucy Group business unit.
