The Role
To support our continuous growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and driven junior software developer to join our brilliant team here at the Lucion Group. As a small team, we work closely together to build in-house software covering a wide range of functions including HR, financial tracking, ing, data analytics, project management, document generation and delivery, field survey data collection, and much more.
This is a Full-Time, permanent role where we are able to offer a basic salary of £26,000. Our team works mostly remotely so location isn’t an issue, but there are more opportunities for meeting in person more regularly if you are based in the North East.
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Developer, you will have the opportunity to learn from the ground up and work on a variety of tasks including mapping data schemas and building scripts/tools, writing integrations with third party services such as the Microsoft Suite, CRM software, financial packages, and refactoring or extending existing functionality to meet the needs of new companies.

Good problem solving skills
Basic programming knowledge and understanding of core concepts (data structures, programming languages, functions)
Conceptual understanding of how a website works (front end vs backend, databases and APIs)
Understanding of software version control (e.g. git)
