The Ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist :

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for enhancing our organization’s ability to profile, isolate, attract, assess, and convert highly-talented, elusive, and experienced professionals into qualified candidates.

The Specialist partners with other HR associates and business leaders to develop and pioneer sourcing strategies to build a strong network of potential candidates to fill critical vacancies across the organization.

The Nitty Gritty Responsibilities :

• Use talent sourcing / research skills combined with relationship management ability to build talent pipelines of both active and passive candidates with a heavy focus on passive candidates.
• Source candidates through a variety of search methods (online sourcing and networking through social media, internal database, job boards, user groups, company targets, referrals etc.)
• Educate, excite, and sell candidates on both the opportunity and the organization
• Conduct detailed, thorough candidate interviews and present qualified candidates to hiring manager for further consideration
• Stay abreast of best practices and share improvement recommendations with colleagues
• Attend online and in person networking events and communities to feed your pipeline repositories.
• Build solid working relationships with internal stake holders
• Manage in-house databases, ATS and maintain data integrity of all information
• Mentor junior team members in Talent Acquisition best practices
• Data analytics – (interpreting / analyzing results, conducting audits).
• Create effective position descriptions for all departments and levels across the organization

Skill Requirements & Experience we’d love you to have :

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in research / recruiting / sourcing top candidates
• Successful cold calling and behavioral interviewing experience at all levels of a corporation
• Highly organized and able to function and adapt in a high demand, time sensitive, changing environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
• Exemplary verbal / written communication skills
• Contributor to bigger team picture (understands how their role impacts overall company goals and contributes to their goals for overall company success).
• Proposes optimal solutions to business problems
• Expert advisor and solid collaborator within L2TMedia for all roles
• Recognizes when issues of own department will have downstream impact & alert affected partners in a timely manner.

• PHR Certified a plus
• Relevant collegiate exposure and 1-2 years of experience in communications or digital advertising.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to learn ATS system, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Glassdoor
• Keeping up with industry trends (read monthly automotive and digital related publications)
• Ability to learn processes and software programs
• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Human Resources or related field
