Daily Responsibilities:

• Generate leads and attract new prospects to develop a sales pipeline.
• Identify and select reputable and safe carriers for freight services.
• Provide customers with shipping quotes.
• Book orders with carriers.
• Assist to prepare carriers for loads.
• Track status of loads.
• Collaborate with shippers, carriers, and dispatchers to manage scheduled collections and drop-offs.
• Keep accurate records of relevant activities.
• Updating customers on the status of shipments and assisting with other inquiries.
• Maintain current knowledge of market trends in the transportation marketplace.

Needs:

• High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Idle-time management skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to commute to work/and or customer locations for sales calls / meetings.
• Must be able to pass a local, state, and federal criminal background screen.
• Must be able to pass drug screening.
• Experienced in Logistics and/or Sales. (Preferred but NOT required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000 to $200,000 per year based on base salary and commission or straight commission pay.

Compensation package:

• $40,000 Base Salary plus commission or straight commission pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Atlanta GA: Work remote from home with 50 miles of Atlanta GA.
