Accounting Assistant

LTL Consultants, Ltd. has a full-time job opening in our Oley, PA office for an Accounting Assistant. The ideal candidate would be someone who loves the details! If you have a familiarity with basic bookkeeping procedures, are self-motivated, conscientious, and want to grow with us in your bookkeeping skills, this may be the place for you.

The ideal team member is someone who enjoys administrative work and completing tasks involving numbers, data entry, reconciliation and the like.

Skills and qualifications:

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Aptitude for numbers
• Excellent data entry skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite, with an emphasis on Excel
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
• 2 years of hands-on experience with accounting software is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to prioritize, organize and problem-solve
• Knowledge of general accounting practices

Job duties:

• Provide accounting and administrative support to management
• Data entry
• Assist with A/P, A/R and Payroll
• Prepare daily bank deposits
• Account reconciliation
• Assist with month-end closing process and preparation of monthly billing
• Compile spreadsheets to assist with accounting report preparation

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree or relevant certification is a plus. Two years’ accounting experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
