The Medicaid Pending Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Medicaid Application process for residents who will need Medicaid.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting the facility in securing Medicaid approval for the residents that are in need of Medicaid.
- Communicates the back and forth of the Medicaid application with Medicaid, facility and family to gather all needed information for approval.
The right candidate will be fast paced, detail oriented and have experience doing Medicaid Pending at a skilled nursing facility.
