Salary from £31,029 to £35,635 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £38,283 pa inclusive of London allowance

These are temporary appointments for one year in the first instance to cover short-term staffing needs. An extension for a maximum of two further years is possible.

The School of Public Policy seeks to appoint a number of Teaching Fellows, starting as soon as possible and prior to the start of Michaelmas Term in September 2022. The post-holder will support the delivery of core and optional public management and governance courses. Duties vary, but typically, candidates should be willing to teach Masters level classes and undertake associated marking and tutorial duties

We welcome applications to this post either on a full-time or part-time/fractional basis; in the case of part-time the responsibilities of the post-holders would be shared in a format to be discussed as part of the selection process.

Candidates should have a strong postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline, particularly public policy, political science, public management, or management economics. These roles offer an excellent opportunity for current doctoral students, post-docs, or sufficiently qualified public policy practitioners, Experience of, or proven ability in, teaching in the above fields is strongly desirable, although we will consider applicants with less teaching experience if professional and/or academic background can compensate.
