Salary from £37,197 to £44,802 with potential to progress to £48,168 inclusive of London allowance

The LSE’s School of Public Policy (SPP) is seeking to appoint a highly committed and motivated Student Recruitment Manager to lead on the student recruitment and marketing activities for our full-time degree programmes. From September 2022, the SPP will operate five full-time degrees: the two-year Master of Public Administration, a one-year Master of Public Policy and three international double degrees with the University of Toronto, Columbia University, and Sciences Po (the last two launching in 2022).

The post-holder will:

• Develop and enhance evidence-driven student recruitment strategies for the SPP’s full-time degrees, founded on an understanding of the international market in this field
• Establish effective methods for relationship management with prospective students including developing and implementing a communications strategy
• Optimise the digital promotion of the SPP’s full-time degree portfolio
• Facilitate online (and potentially, in-person) recruitment events with a global reach
• Review and enhance advertising spend across the School of Public Policy’s degree programmes.

The role will involve you working closely with academic and professional services staff both within the SPP and across LSE, in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.

The successful candidate should have experience of marketing and/or student recruitment experience within the Higher Education sector, and experience of designing and/or delivering online events. The successful candidate will also need to show evidence of an ability to use data to formulate strategies and plans and be able to demonstrate skills in the interpretation and analysis of data. Stakeholder management skills, coupled with an ability to influence and negotiate in order to bring about change, are essential. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate the ability to prepare and manage budgets. Outstanding written and oral communication and presentation skills are essential.
