LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university
Human Resources Division (HR)
HR Policy Adviser
Salary from £37,197 to £44,802 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £48,168 pa inclusive of London allowance
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science universities in the world. LSE is a vibrant and cosmopolitan community in the heart of London, with a diverse staff and student body.
The Human Resources Division supports approximately 4,000 staff and works hard to make the LSE a great place to work as well as study. Strong, well communicated HR policies are a core component of a successful HR Division and we currently have an exciting opportunity within the LSE HR Policy Team.
The HR Policy Adviser ensures that policies are maintained and improved in line with legislative changes and developments within the organisation, as well as creating new policies that support the direction of travel at the LSE. In a unionised environment, the ability to effectively work in partnership with trade union representatives and other colleagues is crucial, as consultation and communication are high on our agenda.
In order to be successful in this role, a candidate will therefore need to have excellent written skills, be an effective communicator and have experience and understanding of a broad range of HR areas in order to contribute across a range of policy topics, alongside a diplomatic approach that lends itself well to partnership working.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
