LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university
Human Resources Division
2 x HR Partner
Salary: £46,792 to £54,094 pa inclusive of London Allowance (with scope for progression to £60,244)
The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is one of the foremost social science universities in the world. The HR Division provides advice and support to the School and its diverse customer base of circa 4,000 employees.
We currently have opportunities for experienced HR Partners to join the team. This is an opportunity to make a real impact, use your professional skills in an interesting environment and contribute positively to a high-performing team.
You will partner a mixed portfolio of departments and will be expected to make an immediate contribution through providing customer focused HR interventions to address people issues and organisational challenges. You will deploy coaching and consultancy skills in order to drive and influence a high performance culture in furtherance of the School’s overall strategic direction.
The role of HR Partner is truly generalist, with a mix of operational and strategic work. Therefore to be successful in this role you must be able to work flexibly and manage a number of cases and projects at any one time. You must be a strong communicator and influencer – someone who excels at building relationships at all levels across an organisation. Having a broad generalist background, you will, ideally, also have a strong interest in, and experience of, a specialist area of Human Resources work.
The ideal candidate will have experience of performing successfully in a similar role in a diverse, complex and challenging environment. It is a given that such candidates will also possess the right mix of technical HR knowledge and skills.
