Education Administrator

Salary from £31,029 to £35,635 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £38,283 pa inclusive of London allowance

The LSE Eden Centre for Education Enhancement brings together educational, digital and developmental expertise at the School to support the development of academic staff, enable curriculum enrichment and digital innovation. It works with academic and professional services colleagues across the School and in partnership with students to ensure research-rich inclusive education in line with the priorities of the LSE 2030 Strategy and ‘Educate for Global Impact’.

This role is central to the smooth running and success of the Centre, providing high-quality administrative support across the range of the Eden Centre’s activities, but with a particular focus on LSE’s Educate for Global Impact educational development activities. The post holder will have administrative responsibility for the delivery of EGI-related small and large events, symposia, fora and conferences and will also work collegially with the administrative team to support Eden Centre colleagues in our growing portfolio of work.

Candidates should have:

• Educated to degree level, with a 2.1 or higher or equivalent experience (or equivalent)
• Substantial experience in a similar or relevant role, or further equivalent experience, ideally in HE
• Experience of servicing, minuting and tracking committees and internal and external meetings to a professional standard
• Excellent numeracy
• Experience and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and convey information in a clear and accurate manner both in person and in writing
• Experience and good working knowledge of procurement and of OneFinance (or an equivalent finance system), ideally in HE
• Experience of web development and editing in an administrative capacity using an online content management system
