We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for support of the physician in providing quality medical care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of exam rooms and assisting the physician with procedures
• Preparation of Patients for exams/procedures
• Collection and maintenance of accurate, legible patient documents including patient history, triage, and handling of patient phone calls in compliance with state laws and regulations governing the legal scope of practice of medical assistants
• Cleaning and restocking of exam rooms
• Cleaning and sterilization of equipment
• Collections of specimens for analysis and/or biopsy

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
• Familiarity with with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
