Let’s talk about your role:

We are actively on the lookout for a qualified Management Accountant to play a key role in the Business Support Unit, right at the heart of our finance function.

Utilising your extensive accounting experience, you will provide a core accounting and reporting functionality, reflecting the financial position of our business in a timely and efficient manner, providing insight and feedback at strategic, financial and operational levels.

You will be responsible for collating, booking and reporting financial transactions and data, whilst working closely with the finance team producing information for presentation to internal and external stakeholders. Liaising with other functions across the finance and accounting space, you will build meaningful relationships with stakeholders and partners, creating and contributing to a culture of collaboration and support.

Ensuring high quality adherence to both internal control structures and local government compliance requirements, you will possess a keen attention to detail and will take pride in your understanding of reporting processes and policies. Contributing directly to our finance vision, you will also have a natural curiosity around development and improvement of processes and procedures, with a desire to play a significant role in optimizing our ways of working and driving efficiencies through our activities. With a review and advisory responsibility for Assistant Management Accountants, you will also take enjoyment in supporting others in reaching our goals and objectives.

This means that you will need significant accountancy experience, being professionally qualified at ACCA, CIMA or ACA level, coupled with the ability to work in a fast paced organisation partnering with a wide range of stakeholders and teams. Displaying a commitment to delivering on the BAU deliverables of your role are a must, whilst also striving to drive improvements in your business area.
