About the role

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our global team based in Hawthorn. The key focus of this position is to lead financial analysis and forecasting in relation to Retail store sales and controllable costs.

• Leadership of Global Retail Finance Support including:
  • Monthly Sales and Wage target setting in conjunction with Country Managers and the Global Head of Retail
  • Weekly store wage productivity reporting and analysis
  • Preparation and maintenance of all global sales forecast models
  • Proactive retail KPI reporting and analysis
  • Store opex cost accounting and analysis
• Development and enhancement of business reporting and analysis processes and structures
• Effective day to day management and development of own team and leadership within the broader Finance team
• Cost management focused on efficient operations and supporting other departments around driving efficiency
• Other duties and special projects within skill and competency level as required

Required skills & attributes

• Extensive financial & management accounting and analytical skills and
• Must be CA or CPA qualified
• Strong history of financial reporting and analysis in a retail environment
• Excellent financial modelling skills and experience
• A strong and flexible commercial focus
• A capability and commitment to develop a winning operational team via effective leadership
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Hiring of appropriate team aligning to the cultural aspirations of the business
• Must have a data focus driving and developing appropriate KPI’s
• A capacity and desire to support peers in the wider team
