Louis Vuitton Malletier Hiring for Assistant Accountant Job at Sydney Full Time

As an Assistant Accountant, you will support the Financial Accountant and finance team in all aspects of financial and management accounting and reporting for Louis Vuitton Australia and New Zealand. Some of your day to day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Vendor creation and amendment process
• Purchase order creation and good receipts
• Process invoices and payments
• Payment clearing in SAP
• Bank transfer and order validation
• Sales reconciliation and reporting
• Charge-backs monitoring
• Update Fixed Asset Register
• Month end journals and financial analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with internal control review
• Assist with preparation of Statutory accounts, GST, FBT and Income Tax returns
• Other ad hoc duties as required by the Senior Financial Accountant and Finance Manager

You are a finance professional, who has likely gained your experience from a Chartered Accounting background (Big 4 or Mid Tier firm experience valued). You have a very strong intellect and dedicated work ethic and are now looking to realise your career potential with a global corporate leader like the LVMH group. You will have an eye for detail whilst still being aware of the bigger picture.

To ensure your success in this role, you will:

• Have completed or are currently undergoing studies for professional qualified (CA or CPA)
• Hold a university degree in Commerce, Business or Economics, ideally with a major in Accounting
• 2-4 years experience in a similar role in commerce
• Analytical and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Experience with SAP would be an advantage but is not a must
• As a bonus, have experience in Luxury or Retail
