About the role:

The role is part of Student Systems, IT Services and the LUSI (Loughborough University Student Information) Modernisation Programme. Loughborough develops and maintains its own student information system. This is an opportunity to help shape this unique system and work with colleagues in delivering an excellent student experience.

About your team:

The Student Information Systems team consists of 16 IT professionals providing business analysis, software development, application support, testing and systems management to a range of Student IT systems, working closely with managers and professionals from across the university in a collaborative approach.

To be able to undertake this role you will:

• Have experience of working and delivering systems in a complex environment/organisation.

• Software Developer – Developed full stack applications and be confident developing in an Oracle environment. · Have worked through the application life cycle, covering analysis, development, testing, implementation, support, maintenance and de-commissioning.

• Have a working knowledge of solution design, software development, software testing and release in an agile environment

• Be ready to engage with new systems/services and want to develop your professional skills
