Talent Acquisition Partner

This position reports to the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, working hand-in-hand with the Human Resources team and hiring managers across all our divisions and brands. Your number one priority will be creating robust pipelines of “ready now” and “future” talent for the group as well as managing the end-to-end recruitment of roles.

You will also learn to develop innovative ideas on how we can best access and measure talent. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across our brands will be critical to ensuring you find the best talent from a diverse pool to build the workplace of the future.

• Own the full recruitment process for your functional areas from identifying candidates through to offer management with support from the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager

• Grow the skills you need to become a business partner to your stakeholders: understanding and identifying recruiting needs and offering advice on how to shape searches

• Take ownership of advertising, filtering and screening applications of direct applicants

• Learn, develop and execute online candidate search campaigns using a variety of internet-based resources, including LinkedIn

• Bring original ideas to the table as to how we can attract and maintain talent using social media channels and diverse media campaigns

• Learn how to create and nurture a pipeline of talent for key, ‘needle in a haystack’ roles across the business and educate stakeholders on the benefits of speculative interviewing

• Support the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager with planning and executing candidate attraction events, understanding your market and their needs to harness attraction

• Become an expert in identifying effective recruiting trends, understanding how they align with L’Oréal’s business priorities and suggesting ways of improvement

• Learn how to use competitive analysis to understand hiring needs and recruiting practices of talent competitors

• Be involved in projects which support the mission of the wider HR and Talent Acquisition teams

You have

• Previous experience either in-house or at agency of owning 360 high volume recruitment

• A solutions-focussed mind-set: you don’t say it’s not possible, you ask how to make things possible

• The capacity to cope with and succeed in ambiguous situations: you might not have all the information but you’re comfortable with making a judgement call when you need to

• Some experience influencing and networking with both internal and external stakeholders: people come to you to seek advice and because they want your input

• Some experience in building new operational HR processes, process-improvement and creating a culture of continuous improvement

• The ability to plan and prioritise your day-to-day as well as longer term: you consider the impact project-work will have on delivering other tight deadlines

• A real appetite to take ownership of your specialist areas and grow them into something world-class: you’re not just here for the ride, you’re here to make it go faster and smoother
