Job Title: Junior Education Associate

Report to: Director Education & Events

Duration: 12 months

Position Overview:

• This role provides support to the Kerastase and shu uemura education team with a focus on digital education assets and experiential events both online and offline. From managing the ACCESS digital library, and key training tools to event logistics and other special projects as assigned.

Who do they support?

• 3 people – (VP Education, Director Events, Senior Manager Education Development)

Job Responsibilities:

• To support the Education Development Department with:
  • ACCESS E- Learning portfolio management, QR code integration and generation of E- Learning paths
  • Updating Education tools i.e., Product Knowledge guide, in salon sign up sheets, class promotional materials
  • Updating In Salon Education menu and promotional tools
  • Support editing process between Education and Creative
  • Map and manage Ambassador and Sensei program newsletters i.e., Monthly theme, Q&As
  • Create and manage National Virtual Training Teams links
  • Update Train the Trainer guides with new products
  • SHOP Orders for events, shows, trainings, shoots
  • Uploading formats and tools to EMS
  • PPT slide creation
• To support the Education Events Department with:
  • Co-create virtual and live event app: work with creative on artwork, uploading of agenda, tool list, essential training information
  • Global and National events and trainings to include logistic support, manage attendee RSVPs, travel information, catering, shipping needs
  • Photoshoot support to include capturing BTS imagery, manage photo library
  • Co-mange Education Event calendar with ongoing team calls
  • Partner with Director of Events on creative event execution i.e., themes, décor
  • Assist with set up and break down of events, inventory, and shipping
  • Special Projects as needed

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Recent graduate (within 12 months) of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• Cosmetology license preferred
• Digital / Social Media savvy
• Advanced skills with Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Resourceful, pro-active, and strong follow-through ability
• Strong attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional attitude and ability to function well in a singular and team environment
• Occasional travel to events and trainings, sometimes requiring night and weekend hours
