Recruiting for a Billing Project Officer to join our team in Westminster! This is a Fixed-Term 1 Year Contract.

GBP 35,000 per annum, working 35 hours per week, plus 25 days Annual Leave, Pension schemes, Staff discounts, healthcare and more.

Job Overview:

The Billing Project Officer will play a key part in the delivery of an efficient and effective finance service to the business by working with Operational colleagues to undertake thorough analysis of historic balances of our Rebilling customer accounts, and identify and resolve any gaps in invoicing. The successful candidate will also assist in efficient and accurate transaction processing as well as accounting and reconciliation activities that ensure the completeness and accuracy of our Rebilling customer’s accounts.

The post-holder will be required to:

• Undertake thorough analysis of historic balances of our Rebilling customer accounts.
• Liaise with colleagues in the business to establish correct invoice data and required supporting information and actions required to progress gaps in invoicing.
• Interact with a wide range of stakeholders and build effective relationships between finance, the wider business and external parties in order to resolve issues and barriers to payment
• Reconcile the data on Civica Cx to the Rebilling Invoice Register
• Ensure the integrity of customer data including contact and address information on CSB, SUN and Civica Cx
• Analyse variances and explore potential problems and agree action plans with the Finance Income Manager
• Effectively perform credit control duties including email, telephone and letter chases and arrange and attend external liaison meetings as required
• Liaise with the Banking team to ensure the correct allocation of payments
• Provide regular detailed analysis of Rebilling debt as part of the month end reports completion in order to recognise any errors
• Manage the Rebilling mailbox and deal promptly and effectively with all queries
• Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements
• Work flexibly and co-operatively as part of the team and the Finance Department

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

Essential:

• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage their own workload
• At least two years experience in Rebilling and analysis or relevant role
• Experience of balance sheet reconciliations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to cope under pressure
• Excellent IT & communication skills

Desirable:

• Experience of working in a social Housing organisation
• Experience of working with Civica Cx
• Experience of working with SUN accounts
• Graduate or AAT qualified

This role is Head Office based ( Remote working 3 days a week and 2 days based in Head Office)
