Longhorn Tactical Hiring for Digital Marketing Assistant – Social Media & Email marketing at Austin, TX Full Time

We are a fast growing multi-channel online retailer, wholesaler, and distributor for innovative outdoor sporting goods. We sell through our retail and distribution partners and our web stores (longhorntactical.com & nitecorestore.com) and marketplaces like Amazon, eBay and Walmart, etc.

Our marketing team is responsible for catalog management, marketing support for our dealer program, digital marketing for web stores, and eCommerce marketplaces and support our wholesale team. The activities range from product catalog creation and management, search engine optimization, advertisement, email campaign to social media activities, etc.

We are seeking a digital marketing assistant to join our growing marketing team. The right candidate should be both creative and analytical, who is able to connect with people, love to learn, explore new ideas, and expand the scope of responsibility over time.

Initial focus of this position will be creating social media contents (text, image and video) and executing email campaigns, newsletters and subscriber growth tactics with basic training of eCommerce platforms. Long term, there will be opportunities to grow to all aspects of digital marketing tasks below.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain product catalog across channels including both copywriting and images
• Maintain our website contents
• Analyze and optimize product listing, search ranking, advertisement, email, and promotional campaigns
• Create rich content marketing copy for products.
• Copy write product features and benefits, blogs, newsletters, and advertisements
• Create and manage the content of social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube)
• Create content and manage our email campaigns and newsletter to our customers
• Participate and build a relationship with targeted online communities, forums, and product reviewers
• Create video content for a product demo, troubleshooting, etc.

Requirements:

• Strong verbal and written communication skill
• Basic Excel skills
• Basic Photoshop, HTML and CSS skills
• Basic graphic design
• Basic Video editing
• Minimal one years experience in digital marketing
• Prefer more than one year experience with eCommerce marketing
• Comfortable with social media and eCommerce
• Experience with both web store and marketplaces like Amazon and eBay are desirable
• Experience with Google Analytics and Google Ads is desirable.
• Excel data analysis skill is not required but desirable
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in relevant fields
• Must pass a background check
