Long Island Swim League Hiring for Camp Director at Smithtown, NY Full Time

Full Job Description

We’re looking to add an experienced individual to our growing team. Our camps are located throughout Smithtown. All applicants must have prior summer day camp experience.

We operate various camps that include sports, games, aquatics, arts, crafts, day trips and more.

Pay is competitive and commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

– Operate the camp in a fiscally responsible manner.

– Administrative and strategic planning.

– Hire and train staff.

– Supervise the opening and closing of camp.

– Manage day to day operations.

– Coordinate daily activities and field trips.

Qualities

– Strong desire to communicate with the staff and families.

– Good interpersonal skills and works with integrity

– Highly organized with an eye for detail.

– Ability to relate to campers of all abilities.

Pay: $800.00 – $1,000.00 per week
