The education programme at LSHTM has undergone significant change in the past 18 months and there are many further strategic decisions to be made as we develop a new Education Strategy for the next 10 years.
As the Strategic Education Advisor, you will provide strategic and operational support to the Pro Director Education in ensuring LSHTM’s strategic priorities across the education portfolio are fully defined and delivered. You will support development of the School’s education strategy and accompanying operational plan.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and/or have experience of working strategically in a higher education setting. You will have experience of managing projects, servicing committees, and producing reports. You will have excellent communication skills and have the skills to influence and motivate others.
The post is full time and offered on a permanent basis. The salary will be on the Professional salary scale Grade 6 in the range £40,611 to £46,119 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary Wellbeing Days” and membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
