The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is a world-leading centre for research and postgraduate education in public and global health. LSHTM is developing a new online MSc in Sexual and Reproductive Health, to be co-developed with the University of Ghana as the lead partner institution in sub-Saharan Africa and co-delivered by a partnership of sub-Saharan African institutions. By the end of the course, successful students will have the necessary knowledge and skills needed to work in policy, practice, programming and advocacy in sexual and reproductive health. There are two programme directors, one employed by LSHTM in London and one by the University of Ghana. They will oversee the development, management and delivery of the programme.

The successful applicant will have a postgraduate qualification in sexual and reproductive health or a relevant subject, experience of teaching and have excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Further particulars are included in the job description.

The post is full time, 35 hours per week, 1 FTE and fixed-term for 2 years. The post is funded by the an anonymous donor and is available from April 2022.

The salary will be on the Academic Pathway salary scale Grade 6 in the range £40,611 – £46,119 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
