This is an exciting opportunity to get involved with the next steps of our journey, and to work alongside our diverse and passionate People and Organisation Development Team to mobilise, operationalise and deliver against our ambitious and exciting people plans, alongside a varying and broad range of stakeholders.
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll have proven experience across all things recruitment, attraction and onboarding. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the business continues to source and develop people by supporting hiring managers and stakeholders at all levels to achieve their hiring objectives. You’ll do this by understanding the business needs & challenges, highlighting and communicating our purpose and values and defining and implementing the best strategies to source, attract, interview and select only the most talented people to join the LLDC. You’ll lead the full end to end recruitment and selection process at all levels, supporting talent solutions that aim to attract, measure, develop and manage the company’s talent pool. You will drive improvements to the Talent Acquisition process to reduce time to hire and improve manager and candidate experience. You will encourage hiring manager involvement and act as an expert for talent projects, strategies and solutions. You will collaborate with other business areas (People Operations, Learning and Development etc.) to ensure new employees are onboarded appropriately and support training when required in relevant Talent Acquisition systems or I&D recruitment related areas. You will ensure candidate suitability including checks and proof of qualifications. You’ll also work with data to draw insights from analytics to support ensure our hiring process smarter and more efficient and continuously seeking ways to elevate our hiring practices, ensuring they are fit for the future and contribute to the development of our employer brand.
You’ll report into the Senior People and Organisational Development Partner and support the organisation to meet our ambitions around inclusion and diversity, and ultimately, in becoming the employer of choice. You will also work closely with the People and Organisational Development directorate partners and support on the creation of processes and practices that are truly inclusive and appeal to and attract a diverse range of talent. This is a great opportunity for a talent acquisition / recruitment professional who is passionate about inclusion and diversity and wants to have an organisation-wide impact, be responsible for the end to end recruitment process and think creatively about how we attract and hire diverse talent.
Is it for you?
You’ll need to have proven experience in recruitment and selection practice and be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering high quality, inclusive and effective talent acquisition campaigns. A skilled recruiter, with a passion to continuously evolve recruitment and attraction practices to create diverse teams and talent pipelines, you’ll need to be passionate about evolving and showcasing our brand and attracting the very best talent to help us to continue to build and deliver our legacy.
You’ll take a proactive approach, with the ability to develop effective and productive professional relationships and a passion for delivering high quality, high impact work that adds real value. Ideally, you’ll bring your own unique lived experience to our team, and use that experience to add your unique voice and expertise in shaping the future of one of the most exciting projects in London.
