We are looking to recruit a Talent Acquisition Partner to join a highly regarded full-service law firm based in Middlesbrough serving clients throughout the UK and further afield. They have an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality advice with exceptional personal service and delivering excellence across the board. With a history spanning 30 years, they currently have eleven offices and a headcount of 190 employees. This role will form part of their growing Business Support Team, based in the Middlesbrough office – it is a full-time position and consideration will be given to individuals who have at least 3 years of experience in recruitment.
You will report to the Group HR Manager and will be primarily responsible for the growth as well as the retention of the staff across the business. You will work closely with the Group HR Manager and Head of departments to manage the recruitment and selection process, as well as manage the onboarding of all new recruits. You will also be responsible for candidate attraction and employee engagement.
Usual working hours are 37.5 hours per week, 08:45-17:15 Monday to Friday (with a one-hour unpaid lunch break) and you be based in the Middlesbrough office. Although hybrid/flexible working will be an option for this role in time, initially you would be required to be full-time in the office in order for you to be able to gain a thorough understanding of the role, the business and their procedures.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
· Develop talent acquisition and hiring plans; perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs.
· Source candidates and create talent pools through networking, job boards, social media and referrals.
· Work with hiring managers to anticipate hiring needs for their teams.
· Administer the end-to-end recruitment process from job specification to offer; continually look for new ways to improve.
· Research and identify candidates to headhunt.
· Continually review recruitment processes to ensure they are finding the best talent and recruiting in the most cost-effective way.
· Keep abreast of market developments and stay ahead of our competition in terms of best-practice sourcing.
· Establish recruitment pipeline for volumes roles.
· Build rapport with potential candidates and support them through their hiring journey, keeping regular contact and responding promptly to queries.
· Perform initial CV sift against job requirements creating shortlists for hiring managers to review.
· Manage the onboarding process for new recruits.
· Utilise appropriate job boards and social media platforms in order to source candidates and promote roles.
· Driving the employee referral scheme within the firm.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
· Experience in high-volume recruitment, minimum 3 years previous experience in a 360-recruiting role gained in an agency and/or in-house setting.
· Good track record of creative sourcing, using multiple channels and methods to find and attract candidates.
· Knowledge of the job market, job boards and current recruitment trends.
· Skilled in using LinkedIn recruiter, job boards and headhunting.
· Good candidate management experience.
· Organisational skills, with a commitment to building internal and external relationships.
· Previous experience gained from a customer-focused environment would be advantageous
· Experience in influencing stakeholders.
· Exceptional oral and written communication skills – creating simple and engaging messages.
· Creative flair and an ability to see the bigger picture.
· Comfortable working on your own initiative, making important decisions and seeking guidance where necessary – and providing regular reports to the line manager.
· High level of business integrity and professionalism with the ability to work on own initiative with little guidance.
· An innovative, customer-focused and proactive approach to resolving problems; taking ownership and accountability.
· Excellent use of IT and Microsoft packages.
