The Havering School Improvement Services comprises a team of inspectors and advisers who quality assure the performance of Havering’s schools and also provides training, advice and consultancy on a traded basis.

About the Job

We are seeking to appoint a Learning and Development Officer to support the work of the successful and friendly Havering School Improvement Services (Hsis), based in Romford, but working remotely. You will take a substantial role in co-hosting / organising co-hosts to support and facilitate trainers for online and face-to-face CPD sessions

You will be provided with training and supervision but will also be given the independence and professional trust to manage your own workload.

About You

You will be a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a committed team player. You will have excellent communication skills and will be comfortable liaising with a wide range of education professionals. You will appreciate the need for timely and accurate outputs and have a good working knowledge of a range of standard IT applications.

You will work to the Hsis Business and Office Manager and be responsible for posting courses on the HES portal, preparing registers, managing refreshments, overseeing team publications, arranging conferences and promoting services through websites and social media.
