Lombardo Ayers & Company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team!

We are a full-service Certified Public Accounting firm offering tax, audit, consulting, and business advisory services to clients in a wide variety of industries. Essential Functions:

• Manage the accounting and finance needs for multiple clients, varying in size and complexity.
• Oversee the preparation of general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements in conformity with GAAP.
• Regular communication with clients to review their financial and accounting activities.
• Complete and manage various accounting related projects for multiple clients.
• Manage client work and produce deliverables.
• Maintain strong client relationships and be able to develop and build client confidence.
• Assist and train junior staff; this includes assistance with solving problems and taking an active role in staff development.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years’ experience in public accounting, demonstrating a proven progression in complexity, scope, and research.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Licensed CPA or CPA candidate, helpful but not required.
• Capable of preparing and completing more complex projects.
• Demonstrates advanced technical knowledge necessary for advising clients.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat products.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
• Strong communication, client service, and organizational skills.
• Personable, respectful, and dedicated.
